Jurassic World Evolution 2 New Dinosaurs EXPLAINED

1.Dimorphodon

Dimorphodon was a pterosaur with an unusually big head. It's named means two formed tooth, and had a wingspan of 4 feet. They lived in coastal areas in Europe and Central America during the Jurassic Period. They probably hunted on insects. It was discovered in the early 19th century by the amateur fossil hunter Mary Anning, who also discovered the plesiosaurus. Richard Owen said that it was a four footed reptile, while Harry Seeley said that it was a two legged runner. I took paleontologists many years to figure out that it was a winged reptile. Its wings probably weren't strong enough for flight and it probably just fluttered or glided from tree to tree.
